We’re Film.Ca Centre Cinemas – a proudly independent cinema rooted in the heart of Trenton with a deep love for film, community, and creativity. As we gear up to celebrate the 100 year anniversary, we're thrilled to launch this exciting campaign to bring a stunning, large-scale History of Film mural to life on the outside of our building, created by the incredibly talented Serna Custom Artwork.
But that’s just the beginning.
With your support, this project will transform the exterior of our cinema into a vibrant, welcoming landmark – complete with lighting, a digital marquee, and a cozy patio area for guests to enjoy. This is a celebration of our cinematic heritage, and you're invited to help us make it happen.

About The Artist
Artist Spotlight - Christopher Bennett
The amazing artist creating Film.Ca Centre Cinemas’ Hollywood North Mural!
Christopher Bennett, of SERNA custom Artwork, is a prolific artist in the Quinte area. Born and raised here, he is no stranger to the area or to transforming blank walls into stunning works of art.
His artistic journey began the minute he could hold a pencil.
Discovering hip-hop elements and graffiti at age 12, he found his true voice. His first commissioned job for a business came when he was only 14 years old. Doug’s Bicycle hired him to paint the exterior of their building.
Christopher is also the owner of Art Works Studio, on Moira St West in Belleville, which offers breakdancing and art classes for kids, as well as paint nights for adults. He encourages the members of his community to discover their passions freely through artistic outlets.
This opportunity allows Christopher to finally paint Centre Cinemas’ wall, a spot he’s admired as a potential mural location for many years. He’s done extensive research on the history of Trenton in film over the past 100 years to get this mural just right, and we’re so excited to see his creation come to life!
