We are looking for enthusiastic Film Experts for our amazing and award-winning Film.Ca Academy Summer Camps.  

The Academy camp consists of a weeklong camp in which students write and film their very own short film all in one week! In between shoots, campers will play games, do crafts, and partake in fun film-centred activities.

In your Film Expert role, you will be connecting with, and inspiring youth in their creative and artistic journeys; providing specific film instruction throughout the week.  

Day & Times:
- End of June to the start of September
- Part-time hours Monday – Friday 
- Part-time hours scheduled between 8am – 6pm 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 
- Leading and instructing kids, grades 1 – 8 
- Leading and actively participating in activities with kids such as board games, outdoor activities, and filming. 
- Ensuring the safety of all kids within the camp every week. 
- Ensuring a safe and creative space for students to inspire, learn, and create. 
- Editing and filming of short films created by students. 
- Ensuring a safe and creative space for students to inspire, learn, and create. 

Requirements: 
- Experience working with children 
- Film and/or Acting schooling or experience 
- Current vulnerable sector screening check, which includes a criminal reference check (can be provided after receiving offer of employment, but before interaction with students/campers)

We are looking for enthusiastic Camp Leaders for our amazing Film.ca Academy Summer Camps.
The Academy camp consists of a weeklong camp in which students write and film their very own short film all in one week! In between QUIET ON SET moments, we play games, do crafts, and plan fun film-centred activities.

In your Camp Leader role, you will be connecting with and leading a group of children aged 6-12 while ensuring a safe and fun environment every week for all campers. 

Day & Times:
- End of June to the Start of September
- Part-time hours Monday - Friday  
- Part-time hours between 8am & 6pm 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 
- Leading and instructing kids, grades 1 – 8 
- Taking part in activities with kids such as board games, outdoor activities, and filming. 
- Ensuring the safety of all kids within the camp every week. 
- Ensuring a safe and creative space for students to inspire, learn, and create. 

Requirements: 
- Experience working with children 
- Film/Acting schooling or experience (not required, but an asset) 
- Current vulnerable sector screening check, which includes a criminal reference check (can be provided after receiving offer of employment, but before interaction with students/campers)

PART-TIME ROLES
Late night cast member (Role filled)
We're looking for someone to join our cast, who can work our closing shifts, up to midnight and occasionally later. Ideal candidates love movies, can exude friendliness, are able to work in a fast pace environment and be ready to work as part of a team.
 
We pay the prevailing minimum wage and provide uniforms without cost. All cast have free admission to movies with a guest when not on duty and a discount on snacks at the snack bar

Part-Time Assistant Manager

Film.Ca Troyes Cinema is looking to grow our team at the Garrison Petawawa location! 🌟 We're searching for a Part-time Assistant Manager who's brimming with enthusiasm and initiative to join our passionate crew. If you're all about delivering top-notch guest service and creating unforgettable entertainment experiences, this role is for you!  

As our Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside our Management team, supporting in various operational tasks while ensuring every guest feels like a VIP from the moment they step through our doors.  

 - Prior management experience in a customer service field required. Preferably in cash handling environment. 
- Possessing and maintaining a positive, customer focused, energetic attitude. 
- Comfortable with enforcing theater policies, rules, and regulations. 
- Self-motivated and able to work with verbal and written direction. 
- Ability to operate at a high level of organization and prioritization. 
- Comfortable communicating and working with customers, supervisors, peers, subordinates, and vendors. 
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a timely fashion. 
- To be able to stand, walk, lift, twist and bend on a frequent basis. 
- Familiarity with technology and must possess experience and comfort with computers and other high-tech equipment. 
- Willingness and availability to work nights, weekends, and full days during holidays and summertime.

Cast Member
