Make-A-Movie Summer Camp Registration Is Open!
Summer Camp Starts July 6th
Exciting News - we're bringing our very popular and award winning Film.Ca Academy Classes to Centre Cinemas!
Drop off: 8:30am - 9:00am
Camp activities begin: 9:00 am
Pick-up: 3:45pm - 4:00 pm
After care: 4:00pm - 5:00pm for $10 per child, per day. *MUST be booked in advance*
Ages 9-14
Kids will work on their movie’s story through storytelling games and activities, including storyboards and improv. They will learn to outline and script their story. We’ll learn about roles on a movie set, and camera and lighting techniques.
Throughout the week, kids will spend a lot of their time creating their movie with the help of their counselors, broken up with games, crafts and activity breaks. It is a lot of work to complete a film in just 1 week, but our Film Experts are there to guide our campers through the process.
Campers' finished movie will be available for online download.
Pizza lunch is provided for all campers on Friday.
Parents may pre-order a hot dog lunch from the theatre (available Monday – Thursday).
Parents should otherwise send lunch (no nut products) and snacks.
Campers watch an age-appropriate movie on the big screen and receive a popcorn/drink combo on the last day of camp.
