Oakville Tuesday Admission increases to $5.00 as of January 5, 2010

Encore was founded on the principle that you should be able to go to the movies without going broke. Recently, we have decided that our internal policy would be - we want to make it possible to go to the movies without going broke while not going broke ourselves!

Costs are increasing and we have kept our pricing low and absorbed most of the increased costs over the past few years. With rent increases as of January, another minimum wage increase this spring and the so called "business friendly... HA!" HST in the summer, we are now forced to look at ways to cut expenses and increase revenue.

For now, we are only going to adjust our Tuesday discount admission in Oakville from $4/seat to $5/seat effective January 5, 2010. Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at adjustments to our Burlington pricing as well. Even wth these increases, potential increases, we will continue to be the best deal in town and we will always stick to our first principle of making it possble to go to the movies without going broke.
