We had another computer glitch today that may have lead you to believe we were sold out of tickets for Twilight: New Moon. WE ARE NOT! As of 2:30 pm today, we have tickets for all shows including the premier at 10:00 pm tonight!
Click here to but online! It's certainly an exciting week at Encore Cinemas! One of the most anticipated movies of the year - and perhaps one of the most anticipated sequels of all time - is hitting the big screen. The Twilight Saga: New Moon, is opening to record breaking pre-show ticket sales and we can't blame the fans! The main stars are back; the original screenwriter is back; and most importantly, the excitement, romance and suspense is back too! Don't let the 'teen' category of the novels for which the movies are based fool you. This is an epic tale that will be enjoyed by all movie lovers. Planet 51 is a sure winner for the whole family. In the style of other recent animated flicks, the humour and storyline are not just for kids, especially with the cast assembled: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman and John Cleese. It's not only a must-see, but it's a great way to start your holiday season with the whole family. Joining the ranks of films like Hoosiers, Rudy and Rocky comes a future sports classic: The Blind Side. Based on the amazing true story of NFLer Michael Oher, you'll be crying, cheering and standing up and applauding by the time you're done watching. With Kathy Bates, Tim McGraw and an Oscar-worthy performance by Sandra Bullock, there is no doubt that The Blind Side will be a favourite of every football (and underdog) fan out there.
After a two week break for staff development meetings, the Toonie Kids Film Festival Resumes Saturday mornings starting November 21st.
