So here we go again, another big animated family film being released in Digital 3D. Big deal!  OK, it is kind of a big deal... a BIG deal for the big cinema chains that can afford the $100,000 in digital cinema equipment.  It's also a BIG DEAL for the families that want to see this film when they add up the $3.00/person 3-D surcharge on tickets.

We are pleased to present this film - but we are doing so in glorious 2-D 35mm film, What will you be missing?  Not much really except some gimmicky effects to demonstrate the "coolness" factor of 3-D films. Come to Encore and you can save big bucks to see the same movie! As our faithful guests already know, you save $3 to $4 per person on regular tickets - add to that the extra $3/ticket 3-D surcharge and the savings are, well, MONSTROUS!
